On Tuesday, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra went on sale in China. The smartphone may have been the most eagerly anticipated 2023 release from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. The company also teased customers with specific details about the handset prior to its debut, following multiple reports and leaks regarding the handset's design and specifications. The brand-new dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone from Xiaomi features a 6.73-inch AMOLED WQHD+ (3,200 x 1,440) display with a peak brightness level of 1,300 nits, a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz, and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Out of the box, it runs MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13.

An Adreno 740 GPU and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset power the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. It has up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 16GB of LPPDR5X RAM.

The camera unit that comes with the device is what makes it stand out. One 50-megapixel IMX989 sensor and three 50-megapixel IMX858 sensors make up the Leica-tuned rear quad camera unit. Leica-designed Summicron lenses are included with the cameras, which have six lenses with varying focal lengths.

At the top of the display, a hole-punch cutout with a center-aligned hole holds the 32-megapixel front camera. There is also a Fast Shot mode in the camera settings that is said to be made for street photography. The user can click a picture in 0.8 seconds using this mode.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra loads a 5,000mAh battery unit with 90W wired and 50W remote quick charging support. It is claimed that the wired fast charging solution can fully charge the phone in 34 minutes.

Additionally, the manufacturer has included a Hibernation mode in the device. When the phone's battery backup is less than 1%, it kicks in. It gives you 12 minutes of talk time and lets the phone stay on for 60 minutes to help you connect with other people. The telephone additionally has an IP68 rating for residue and water opposition and an in-show unique mark sensor for biometric validation, as per the organization.
