Officially teased and expected to use the new MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC is the Vivo X90s.

Jia Jingdong, Vivo's Vice President and General Manager of Product Strategy, teased the Vivo X90s on Weibo on Thursday. The new smartphone shares a design with the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro, which are siblings in the Vivo X90 series. It is shown that the triple rear camera unit on the Vivo X90s is tuned by Zeiss. It is anticipated that the primary features of the Vivo X90 will remain in the upcoming model. The upcoming handset's specifications have been leaked by Chinese insiders. The Vivo X90s may be available in four distinct color options and is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC.

On the Chinese microblogging platform, Jia Jingdong shared an image of the Vivo X90s, giving us a look at the design from the back. The handset is shown in the render with rounded corners and a white finish. The image suggests an LED flash and three Zeiss-branded rear cameras mounted on the rear panel. The Vivo logo appears to be at the bottom of the glass back.

However, Vivo did not specify a specific launch date or the primary specifications of the Vivo X90s.

Separately, on Weibo, a number of Chinese tipsters published specifications for the forthcoming Vivo X90s. The tipsters claim that the phone will be powered by the most recent MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, which is an improvement over the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC on the standard Vivo X90. Wi-Fi 7 connectivity is said to be available on the new model, which may be available in black, blue, green, red, or white colors. In contrast, the Vivo X90 is available in China in China in China Red, Ice Blue, and Original Black (translated from Chinese). It has Wi-Fi 6.

The Vivo X90s's specifications were made public in a May TENAA listing. It will have a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with 1,280 x 2,800 pixels, according to the listing.
