Tim Cook, Apple's chief executive, opened the company's first store in the nation's capital on Thursday and greeted customers. Situated at Select Citywalk Shopping center in Delhi, the blockade for Apple Saket highlights a remarkable plan that takes motivation from Delhi's many entryways. The Saket store, on the other hand, is smaller than the Apple store that opened on Tuesday in Jio World Drive at Bandra Kurla Complex.

The Apple Saket store in Delhi is around 50% of the size of the Mumbai store where the organization will pay a piece of complete deals from the store as lease or Rs 40 lakh each month, whichever is higher, as per sources.

At the Saket store, the company employs more than 70 highly skilled retail team members who hail from 18 Indian states and collectively speak more than 15 languages.

The iPhone maker is likely to soon double the number of contract manufacturing jobs in India, according to government sources.

Apple's first official retail store was opened in Mumbai on Tuesday by Cook, who was making his first trip to India in seven years.

Cook had last been to India in 2016, when the tech conglomerate was just starting to expand its operations there.
